When it is done this well, I can't figure out why some people have trouble with FPPOV. The POV is perfect for SHADES. Go figure.Franceshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08340332869249455215noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7000178748848462351.post-81895477766692232652008-10-23T12:51:00.000-05:002008-10-23T12:51:00.000-05:00Ok, Patty, the slime green is on Linnea's feet. It's a wonder Philip doesn't have a complex. (There are several.) They remind me of the scene from when Harry Met Sally: I'll take some of what she's having! And I don't even like guns!LOLAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7000178748848462351.post-37276568841803759492008-10-20T21:16:00.000-05:002008-10-20T21:16:00.000-05:00Patty,Are you telling me that my slime green envy ...Patty,
Are you telling me that my slime green envy wasn't too far off the mark? Well, Rya was just 10 years old to Philip's 25 the first time they met. They had a somewhat inauspicious beginning- let's just say it involved peas and leave it at that! I, too, re-read GG before reading SHADES and I'm glad I did. Chaz and Sully are 2 of my favorite characters EVER.

I am happy to report that I had the happy privilege of reading an ARC of HOPE'S FOLLY, the next book in Linnea's "Sully-verse" and it is a roller-coaster ride of high-paced action. Philip is a terrific hero: honorable, smart, funny, he has gorgeous blue eyes, and he can kiss. The heroine of the story, Rya, is tough and gutsy and keeps Philip on his toes. This is a book not to be missed either!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7000178748848462351.post-76046833746359817222008-10-19T21:06:00.000-05:002008-10-19T21:06:00.000-05:00Hi Jace,Thanks.
