Trouble in River City...

Linnea Sinclair just doesn't understand what she's done. She has allowed her kitty, Miss Doozy to pimp her next Science Fiction Romance, Shades of Dark, coming out this Summer. It's the sequel to her RITA Award winning Gabriel's Ghost. But no. She has shamelessly used her child for self-promotion. Follow this link and see if I'm not telling the truth.

You know, it wouldn't be so bad if Miss Doozy was a real dog... But... oh, no, that isn't the politically correct term. She's actually a very sexy kitty. But this is where the problem lies. You see, my son, the Supreme Pasha Zackery (above, when he was six months old) sleeps across my shoulders when I'm working. Being the intelligent Poodle that he is, he immediately took notice of the sexy Miss Doozy with the object of adding her to his harem. Ten pounds of testosterone can be such a trial to a mother. He just will not take no for an answer. He sees no problem with an inter-species romance and can't understand why Linnea or Miss Doozy would not be thrilled with his overture. Now he's asking me to let him to pimp my book. I told him, "It isn't finished yet!" Take a look and tell me, do you think he would make a good spokesman? If a cat does it, shouldn't he?

Frances, I can't stop grinning at this post! :D PashaZ is such a handsome boy, so yeah, I think him pimping your book will work. Miss Doozy might start noticing him in return!

I'm wondering ... may I use your link to Miss Doozy pimping Linnea's book on my blog? The fan girls will love it, I'm sure.

Great blog! In the words of the Terminator ... I'll be back ... LOL

I don't know, Jace. I took that picture of the Great Pasha Zack when he was only six months old. He's three and a half now, and infitely more handsome, a real man, but still just as cute. If you don't believe me, just ask him. However, I think that maybe Miss Doozy thinks that Zack is too young. Perhaps I had better get up a more 'adult' picture.

Mind if I link to JACE SCRIBLES?

Hi Frances!
I'm Kat, the Poodle person from Jace's blog.
I had to drop by when I've read that you're a Poodle Person too. there is nothing comparable to these curly princes.
Zack looks so cute!!!!

Hi Kat,
I think your princes are gorgeous. They look almost like Zack's big brother(well, not real brother), TeddyII. TeddyII is my brother's owner. He thinks that Zack is his little brother and will do anything for him. That leads to one very spoiled little Pasha.

Yes, I am a Poodle Person (PP). I confess unashamedly. My condition is so bad that I have written in a Poodle as one of my characters in the Science Fiction Romance that I am writing. A future without Poodles, cats, and other animals is not to be contemplated.

Come back any time. PPs of the World unite!

Hi Frances!

I'd love to read your book, when it comes out one day.

my two Poodles are the best things ever happened to me. they give me so much joy, love and happiness. I certainly can't imagine a live without them and animals in general.
Unfortunately Poodles aren't as popular in Europe (where I live) as in the USA. people always think they aren't "full" dogs and their only purpose is to look pretty.
I'm doing a lot of sport with my boys, also man-trailing. people are always staring aghast saying: wow, we didn't know Poodles can do that!
I'm very proud of my kids, they are French hunting dogs after all!!!

have a nice day and give Zack a hug from me!

Hi Kat,

I have been blessed with Poodle children for almost forty years. Each of them has been unique. None of them has been a wuss. My first was a miniature, and a fabulous hunting dog. My second was a standard that kept bad people away from me. Pasha Zack is a toy, and the king of the world.

Poodles are probably one of the older breeds of dog that we have. There are pictures of dogs on ancient Greek vases which are dead ringers for Poodles. Poodles were used throughout history as boar hunting dogs. They just don't have quit in their nature. The only problems that I have ever seen with Poodles is that they are often smarter than their people, or the human is neurotic. That is a receipe for trouble. :-) Dumb people should not mess with Poodles. I am impressed with what your boys do. They can save lives. Awesome!
