Now I have confirmed my geekiness to all true Sci-Fi aficionados. I have to hang my head in shame.

Sorry that I have been out of sight, but with classes, rain storms and erosion, and trying to write, I have been so tied up. I have two other posts written and ready to go. All it will take is a little time to get the photos ready to go with them.

See you all soon,

Frances

I'll put my meme up tomorrow. Sadly, I haven't read a lot of these. I've watched a few and seen parts of others. Basically what I'm saying is I'm spotty at best. *ggg*

Hi Frances!
Cool blog post about movies and books. I've read 22 of the books listed, and I tried to read Battlefield Earth but found it so awful that I tossed the book across the room. I gather that the movie was horrible, too, so I guess I am not missing much.
I love reading SF, so I am always saddened to hear of people who watch SF movies and TV shows and never read the books behind them! What a shame!
Thanks for the interesting trip down memory lane!
Your blog is lots of fun!
Take care,
DeAnn

Jordan, I was honestly horrified at how few that I have read. I couldn't believe that 2001 wasn't on the list! I have read and liked both Segan's CONTACT and Grant's Contact. So much out there and so little time. God I hate dyslexia... slows me down.

DeAnn,I am so glad that you had fun here. I had to go back to way back to remember if I had read or seen some of them. Then it occured to me that not only had I read the original books, but seen more than one version of the films, seperated by at least one generation. Early Middle Age! LOL.
